Idea Cellular Announces Rs. 396 Plan for Existing Customers Offering 1GB Data Per Day for 84 Days

Just yesterday, we reported that Idea Cellular had launched two new first recharge plans for the users of Himachal Pradesh, and today, a retailer of the same region has tipped us that the company unveiled yet another plan that offers unlimited calls and data for 84 days, same as yesterday’s plans.

But this plan is valid for both the new users and existing users. For new users, the plan costs Rs. 399 and for existing users, it costs Rs. 396. The price varies by a small margin, but it offers the same benefits for both existing and new users.

For existing users, the new plan offers unlimited local and national calls to any network along with 1GB data per day for 84 days. Nevertheless, the benefits slightly differ if the customer doesn’t have a 4G handset. For non-4G handset users, it offers the same unlimited local and national calls to any network and 2GB data. Also, the validity will come down to 28 days for non-4G handset users.

And for the new users, it gives similar benefits of unlimited local and national calls to any network and 1GB data per day for 84 days, irrespective of the handset you use. Furthermore, the offer is an open market offer and applicable for every existing Idea customer.

However, we’re not sure whether the plan shall apply on a pan-India basis or not, but we’re sure that Idea has rolled out the new scheme in Himachal Pradesh circle. Customers can walk out to the nearest retail store to recharge the plan.

This new plan is probably better than the Reliance Jio’s Dhan Dhana Dhan offer because it costs Rs. 408 for a new user and this one from Idea costs Rs. 399.
