Huawei has been launching a lot of smartphones of late in different parts of the globe. After launching the Honor 7X and Honor View 10 in the US and UK markets, the company is back to the homeland China again. This time around, Huawei launched a budget device and the successor to last year's Huawei Enjoy 6S smartphone, the Huawei Enjoy 7S. This device, for now, will be available in China and it competes with the recently launched budget smartphone, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus.
Huawei Enjoy 7S Specifications
It is fair to say that the Enjoy 7S as a toned-down version of the Honor 7X smartphone. Huawei has added a 5.65-inch Full HD+ display on the front with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and a 2.5D curved glass on top. Internally, this device is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 659 chipset, which is mated to 3GB/4GB of RAM.
The Enjoy 7S comes in two variants- a 3GB RAM and 32GB storage option, along with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage model. Both the devices come with a microSD card slot for storage expansion, but its a hybrid card setup. The device measures 150.1 × 72.05 × 7.45mm and has an overall weight of 143grams. It comes with all the connectivity options support such as 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, and a micro USB port.
Cameras in the Huawei Enjoy 7S include a 13MP+2MP combination at the back, which is followed by an 8MP sensor on the front. Like what we have seen on most of the Huawei smartphones, the Enjoy 7S' secondary camera at the back also used to capture depth information to added bokeh effect to the images. A fingerprint sensor is also present at the back below the camera module, and the best part is the Enjoy 7S boots Android Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 out of the box. This budget smartphone is backed by a smaller 3000mAh battery with no mentioning for fast charge support.
Huawei Enjoy 7S Price
As stated earlier, the Enjoy 7S is a Chinese exclusive at the moment, and may not make it to the Indian market. In China, Huawei will sell the phone in four colour options- blue, black, rose gold, and gold. It costs 1499 Yuan (approx. Rs 14,600) for the 3GB RAM and 32GB model. The premium 4GB RAM and 64GB model costs 1699 Yuan (approx Rs 16,500). As far as the pricing is concerned, the Enjoy 7S is aimed at competing with Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus, whose price starts at just 999 Yuan in the Chinese market.
