Vodafone, Idea Cellular, and the new entrant Reliance Jio also have similar plans. Of late, operators are also concentrating in providing offers for new users who are looking to join their network. That said, here are the best new user prepaid plans available from all the telecom operators in India right now.

1) Reliance Jio Rs. 408 and Rs. 608 Plans
The Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio is the primary reason behind all the disruption in the country. Currently, Jio is offering two mandatory prepaid plans of Rs. 408 and Rs. 608, which provides 1GB and 2GB data per day respectively. These plans are valid for 84 days, and they even offer unlimited voice calling to any network across the country.

2) Airtel FRC 293 and FRC 449 Plans
Along with delivering luring offers to existing prepaid customers, India's leading telecom operator also rolled out two new first recharge plans of Rs. 293 and Rs. 449. Both these schemes offer same benefits as the Rs. 244 and Rs. 399 plans which are available for existing prepaid customers.

The FRC 293 scheme gives 1GB data per day, and unlimited Airtel to Airtel calls for 70 days. Under the FRC 449 plan, Airtel is offering 1GB data per day and unlimited calls to any network for 70 days.

3) RCom's Latest FR 148 Plan
To counter the incumbent operators, Anil Ambani-led Reliance Communications on May 1 has rolled out a new first recharge plan of Rs. 148. Under this plan, RCom is giving 1GB data per day for 70 days along with Rs. 50 talk time. Do make a note that this plan won't come with any voice calling benefits, but users can make voice calls at just 25 paise/minute.

Besides the FR 148 plan, RCom also rolled out two plans of FRC 54 and FRC 61. Both these schemes offer 1GB data per day for 28 days. The FRC 54 plan gives Reliance to Reliance calls at 10 paise/minute and other local+STD calls at 25 paise/minute. The FRC 61 scheme offers Reliance to Reliance voice calls at 1 paise/minute and other calls at 1 paise/2 secs.

Also, these plans are valid only for the residents of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, but RCom may expand these to other circles as well.

4) Telenor India's FR 73 Plan
Same as the RCom's first recharge schemes, Telenor's FR73 is valid for the residents of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh circle. Under this plan, Telenor is providing 1GB 4G data per day for 28 days. It also provides Rs. 25 talk time and voice calls will be charged at 25 paise/minute for 90 days. After the completion of 28 days, users can recharge with STV 47 to continue unlimited 4G services for another 28 days.
