As per our sources BSNL will be soon implementing "Re 1 BSNL Store" for its customers like how private operators like airtel has implemented to encash its subscribers by offering various value added services at one place. BSNL store will be both available on WAP and Desktop version which is a win win thing for end users.
This clearly shows BSNL is not in a mood to compromise the competition be it voice, data or VAS services in competition with private service providers.
BSNL will be also selling value added services in its online customer portal, right now BSNL offers services like Bill Payments mobile top up though its online customer portal this thing comes at a time when private operators are already offering similar services since ages.
Airtel launched Re 1 Store back in August and to promote the rollout of ‘Re 1 Airtel Entertainment Store’, Airtel launched a high-decibel campaign comprising of 4 TV commercials with exciting mix of outdoor and digital promotional legs.
We now need to see how different does BSNL comes up with Re1 BSNL Store concept and how well its subscribers accept it.
