Continued Collaboration for Enhanced Connectivity
Under the terms of the contract, Eltel will continue its collaboration with Telia Finland across diverse services, including the construction, installation, and maintenance of both fixed and mobile networks, as well as the expansion of the 5G network infrastructure.
Previous Agreement and 5G Expansion
This extension contract follows a previous three-year agreement between the two companies, initially signed in December 2020. Valued at 110 million euros, the prior collaboration centred on fixed and mobile network services, with a significant emphasis on advancing the 5G rollout across Finland. The 2020 contract, which began in the first half of 2021 and lasted for three years, is a continuation of an earlier agreement between Eltel and Telia Finland.
