Dish TV and Hungama together launch ad-free music service Music Active

Dish TV has announced a partnership with digital entertainment division Hungama to launch a new service Music Active. The service Music Active serves all music lovers, encompassing varied genres including contemporary Bollywood hits, Bollywood retros, devotional, western and pop, international classics, ghazals, Bhojpuri, Kannada, Tamil and Carnatic hits.

Dish TV already has a portfolio in the field of music and VAS. “We are delighted to tie up with Hungama for launching Music Active. With the launch of Music Active, we are continuing with our legacy of offering another unique service for our consumers who are inclined towards music and will have this great opportunity to enjoy music of all genres in the close comfort of their homes,” responded Salil Kapoor, COO, Dish TV.

As a launch offer, subscribers can avail the service at Rs.35 until October 31. From November, it is charged at Rs. 45. A free version is available for trial from 27 August – 6 September, 2015. Interested customers can call on 1800-270-0096. On Dish TV, channel number 671 is allotted to Music Active. The service is totally ad-free.
