CityNet Brings XGPON Technology to Azerbaijan, Providing 10 Gbps Speeds

Azerbaijan's internet provider, CityNet, has introduced XGPON (XGigabit-capable Passive Optical Network) technology, offering blazing-fast internet speeds to the country. As the first provider to implement this advanced technology in Azerbaijan, CityNet now delivers 10 Gbps speeds to its individual and corporate clients.

CityNet stated that with the introduction of XGPON, its customers can enjoy uninterrupted and high-quality internet connections. Currently, CityNet offers high-speed internet, television, and landline services using FTTB (fibre to the building) and FTTH (fibre to the home) technologies to customers in Baku, several central districts of Khyrdalan and Sumgayit cities, Masazir, Sahil, Ramana, Savalan, and Novkhani settlements. Additionally, these services are also available in several villages in Tovuz, Masalli, and Lankaran cities.
