GSM Rural Subscriber base increases 1.15% in April 2015

During the month of April 2015 GSM rural subscriber base in the country grow 1.15% to 341.53 million. Total net addition in month of April was 3.88 million subscribers. Airtel leads rural subscriber base with 108.91 million subscribers which is almost a third of total rural subscribers in the country. BSNL revises 2G/3G data packs, reduces validity on most packs 1 GB data pack to cost more

BSNL has revised its prepaid 2G/3G data offering by reducing validity of most data packs. HOOQ to launch Video-on-demand service from June
