Hello! ... Are you there?... Silence ... Am I connected? ... Break.... Is this the same with your case?
India is heading towards Digitization and proper call connectivity and quality is also a part of it we suppose. Poor coverage is one aspect and Call Drop is another aspect. It is difficult to analyze the reasons for call drops as they are varied and we can't just point one reason alone.
End of the day operator's quality service perception is directly impacted due to call drops as the primary offering of a teleco is voice and the results speak a lot on the quality of service provided to the customer. Dissatisfied customers may or may not always complain on the same and wait till they experience better service, as with MNP/NMNP they have varied options to PORT out to a different operator.
Being on both sides of the coin I just say - 'customers have less patience and it may not be the same SLA/KPI as business'.
Though there are many aspects to consider, deal, solve or develop new frameworks and arrive at problem solving approaches, we have a poll at TT to voice out customer experiences and let your opinions be heard loud.
Dear readers, do go ahead and take the poll, which will be open for a couple of weeks followed by analytic results. Do, let us know your feedback via comments. You can also tweet us @TelecomTalk with your opinions.
*Note : Only GSM Operators are taken into consideration.
