BSNL Offers ‘[email protected] Doorstep’ in Kolkata

India’s largest broadband internet and telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) announced the launch of “Broadband @ your doorstep”, an initiative where BSNL would assist potential customers with their requirements of new Broadband connections in Kolkata Metro circle (Calcutta Telephones). Through a simple process, a customer can readily get access to a broadband connection, at his doorstep with expert guidance from BSNL.

To avail this service, customers just need to call on mobile number of their service area manager/team leaders where they would be guided on BSNL broadband, collecting documents from the interested customers end and arrange Broadband or new line according to the customers convince. BSNL also announced Broadband booking through just one SMS.To book the broadband connection by SMS on existing landline; Kolkata users need to send BB<space> Landline number to 9433444888. If customers don’t have BSNL landline than type “BB” and send it to 9433444888.

BSNL Broadband @ your doorstep service is available for subscribes of Dum Dum, Barrackpore, Howrha, Serampur, Bidhannagar, Culcutta Central, Culcutta City Jadavapur, Culcutta North,South, and Alipor area of Kolkata Metro. The customer once decided on a Broadband booking, the BSNL executives sends a representative to collect the documents from customer’s location and install the Broadband connection.

Bsnl broadband has very bad speed in the name of unlimited plan. Even local cable operators provide much more better plan and speed in broadband. There customer support is also frustrating. So please don’t go for bsnl.

SIR IN OUR AREA(DHANIAKHALI ,PUINAN ,HOOGHLY),HERE IS A GREAT PROBLEM IN TELEPHONE LINES AND ALSO FOR THE BROADBAND.SINCE LAST 2 MONTHS I COULD NOT ACCESS MY NETWORK AND I NOTICED IT TO SDO AND IN OUR AREA EXCHANGE OFFICE,BUT THEY ALWAYS TOLD ME THAT WE WILL TAKE SOME STEPS FOR YOUR AREA PROBLEM BUT IT IS GOING SO WROST.I HAVE THE BROADBAND COMBO 500 PLAN AND ITS MINIUM SPEED IS 256 KBPS BUT UNFORTUNATELY MY MAXIMUM SPEED IS 80 KBPS AND IN FREE TIMES 5-10 KBPS.I HAVE CLEARED MY ANUAL BILL AND THE COMMUNICATION IS NOT CO-OPERATE WITH ME FOR… Read more »

BSNL must give proper importance to old customers . Give more speed to broadband in unlimited schemes , without speed this so called ” unlimited ” is just sham. give all circles equal importance . concentrating just on big cities wont do any good to BSNL. Moreover transparency and customer care must be in tune with other competitors , customers simply does not know whom to contact , where to look for information in cases of emergency ,
