The email recovery facility is currently available for email address ending with @bsnl.in, @sancharnet.in, @dataone.in and other domains hosted with BSNL. Initially, the facility will be available for emails deleted in last 15 days and it will be free. The longer duration email retrieval service will be offered on payment basis based on requirement with maximum duration being 30 years.

"This capability guarantees more security of data for users and provides power to recover from accidentally deleted emails at his own web-based email platform. He doesn't require any administrator of BSNL or an expert of data recovery. This capability will be available for each and every user in his email," said BSNL Director NK Gupta.

To recover deleted emails in BSNL Webmail, select "Archive of Deleted Emails" and search for the deleted email to be recovered. XgenPlus plus will search quickly and present the matching emails and allow to restore them back to TRASH. With the latest addition, BSNL has made its email service more attractive to its end users.
