LG’s first modular smartphone G5 listed on India website at Rs 54,000

South Korean handset maker LG has listed its first modular smartphone, G5, on its India website. The device is carrying a price tag of Rs 54,000. Tata Comm to sell 74% stake in data center biz to ST Telemedia

Singapore Technologies Telemedia (ST Telemedia) through ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) will acquire a 74% majority stake in Tata Communications’ data centre business in India and Singapore, according to an official statement. Apple, RIL to ink iPhone sourcing deal to support Jio 4G services: Report

BIF urges Govt to remove Import Duty rollback on Populated PCBs and other phone accessories

The Government of India, in a recent Notification (No 31/2016-Customs) decided to roll back import duties levied on components of mobile phones in the Union Budget 2016. BSNL expects Rs 30,000 crore revenue with 3-4% jump for FY16: Report

State-run telco BSNL is expecting to cross revenue of Rs 30,000 crore in the year ended on March 31, 2016, up 3-4% higher than last year, according to a report in Economic Times.
