Well, Asus has rolled out a 103MB update to its ZenFone 2. The update is claimed to make the device more stable in terms of functioning. For those, who have not received any notification yet, you can check it manually by simply heading to Setting > About Phone > Check for update.
The update is not a massive one, and neither does it come with a changelog. However, the bootsplash message that comes with the update is explanatory enough, it says,"A new system update is provided to improve stability," We can expect the update to improve the working of the device. Moreover, we also hope that Asus rolls out Android 6.0 Marshmallow update by the end of this quarter, which will be in June.
As a heads up to the users of Zenfone 2, make sure that you're connected to a stable internet connection whilst installing the update. Also, it would be helpful if your device is fully charged or at least above 50 percent of charge. Such updates are rolled out in a phase-wise manner, so it will hit your device soon. We see this update as a warm-up pitch for the next update, which will hopefully change the Android version of the device.
