Indian startup Aprecomm has partnered with American chipmaker Qualcomm to improve network application intelligence and deliver an enhanced Wi-Fi experience for residential and business customers. Aprecomm said it has leveraged elements of the Qualcomm Service Defined Wi-Fi framework to enhance its Application Awareness and Prioritisation software.

Uses Qualcomm Service Defined Wi-Fi framework
By working with Qualcomm, Aprecomm's quality of experience engine monitors and analyses Wi-Fi traffic flows at the deep packet level and uses Qualcomm's Service Defined Wi-Fi APIs to dynamically prioritise application flows, delivering an optimal end-user experience, the company said.
