Aprecomm Partners with Qualcomm to Enhance AI-Powered Wi-Fi Optimisation
Indian startup Aprecomm has partnered with American chipmaker Qualcomm to improve network application intelligence and deliver an enhanced Wi-Fi experience for residential and business customers. Aprecomm said it has leveraged elements of the Qualcomm Service Defined Wi-Fi framework to enhance its Application Awareness and Prioritisation software.

Uses Qualcomm Service Defined Wi-Fi framework

By working with Qualcomm, Aprecomm's quality of experience engine monitors and analyses Wi-Fi traffic flows at the deep packet level and uses Qualcomm's Service Defined Wi-Fi APIs to dynamically prioritise application flows, delivering an optimal end-user experience, the company said.

"This moves us one step closer to our mission of creating intuitive, zero-touch self-supporting networks," said Pramod Gummaraj, Founder and CEO of Aprecomm. "By teaming up with Qualcomm Technologies we've increased our capability to automatically tune the performance of every application based on its specific functional needs with zero intervention from either the service provider or the consumer."

Prioritisation for User Experience
