Airtel has launched ‘V-Fiber’ in Pune enabling the customers in the city to avail 100Mbps speed over Airtel’s home broadband, announces a release from the company. V-Fiber is based on a European fixed broadband technology called Vectorization. To install this service, no new wiring, drilling etc. are required at the customer’s premises. Instead, the modem has to be upgraded to V-Fiber modem.

According to Airtel, it is the first operator in India to deploy Vectorization technology in India. Commenting on the launch of technology in Pune, Vidur Rattan, CEO – Rest of Maharashtra and Goa, Bharti Airtel said, “We are delighted to bring ‘V-Fiber’ to our customers in Pune, as part of our endeavor to deliver a best-in-class broadband experience to users. Airtel V-Fiber Broadband Offers in Pune
The existing customers can upgrade to V-Fiber broadband at no extra monthly cost. In case, if the customer is unsatisfied with the speed of the broadband within a month, Airtel will refund the activation charges (the amount will be adjusted in the next bill cycle). The new customers can avail the three months unlimited offer and opt for V-Fiber plans starting from Rs. 699.
