Airtel Expands Wi-Fi Service to 2.6 Million New Households in Punjab and Karnataka

Airtel Expands Wi-Fi Service in Punjab and Karnataka
Bharti Airtel has expanded its Wi-Fi service to an additional 1.1 million households in Punjab and 1.5 million in Karnataka. On Tuesday, Airtel announced that it has extended its service across 24 districts, including Chandigarh, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Pathankot, and Rupnagar in Punjab, as well as 30 districts, including Mysuru, Hassan, Bangalore, Mangalore, and Bagalkot in Karnataka. This follows Airtel's recent expansion of its Wi-Fi services in Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, and Telangana.

Expansion Across Punjab and Karnataka

With Airtel Wi-Fi, customers not only receive high-speed, reliable wireless internet but also a host of other benefits, including unlimited streaming, access to 20+ OTT services, and over 350 TV channels, Airtel said.

Commenting on the expansion, Bharti Airtel in two separate statements, said, "Airtel Wi-Fi has now reached every nook and corner of Punjab and Karnataka. With Airtel Wi-Fi, customers can unlock a wide range of entertainment options, including access to over 20 OTT platforms, more than 350 television channels, and reliable high-speed wireless Wi-Fi service at an affordable tariff starting at Rs 599 per month in Punjab and Rs 699 per month in Karnataka."

Airtel Wi-Fi Service Plans

The Rs 599 entry-level plan in Punjab offers speeds of up to 30 Mbps and entertainment benefits, including 350+ TV channels (HD included), Disney+ Hotstar, and over 20 OTTs. Similarly, the Rs 699 entry-level plan in Karnataka provides speeds of up to 40 Mbps and the same entertainment benefits.

Other Airtel Wi-Fi plans include Rs 899 for speeds up to 100 Mbps, Rs 1,099 for speeds up to 200 Mbps, Rs 1,599 for speeds up to 300 Mbps, and Rs 3,999 for speeds up to 1 Gbps. All plans offer Unlimited data and Voice benefits.

Recent Airtel Wi-Fi Service Expansions

Airtel has also expanded its Wi-Fi services recently in Gujarat (4.1 million additional households), Telangana (1.9 million households), Tamil Nadu (2.5 million households), and Uttar Pradesh (4 million households).
