Bharti Airtel announced that it has significantly expanded its network across the western state of Gujarat, installing over 1,700 new cellular towers in the past seven months—a pace of more than eight towers per day. With this enhanced infrastructure, the company aims to empower residents and businesses to seamlessly access Airtel's suite of cutting-edge voice, data, and digital services, the company said Monday.

Expanding Rural Reach
Airtel also noted that it has been focusing on enhancing its rural network in Gujarat, one of its key markets. Through this initiative, the company will expand its coverage to 7,000 villages across the state, impacting over 5 million people.

Airtel's network now provides connectivity in urban, semi-urban, and rural areas, including highways, tourist destinations, and trade centers, ensuring comprehensive coverage throughout the region.

Ad Campaign Featuring Gujarati folk singer
To mark this achievement, Airtel said it has launched an ad campaign featuring Gujarati folk singer Aditya Gadhvi, celebrating the rapid improvements in rural connectivity and high-speed internet access throughout Gujarat, including the most remote areas.
