“Today we celebrate another significant milestone in ODATA’s history. We have officially broken ground on our next data center in Sao Paulo, the DC SP04. A huge thank you to all members of our Sangue Roxo team and to our partner Fonseca Mercadante Constructor, whose dedication and commitment have made this possible,” the company shared in a post.
According to the website, the new facility will join the company’s three existing data centers in the region—SP01, SP02, and SP03—as well as RJ01, which is under construction. Odata also has two operational data centers in Chile, one in Mexico, and one in Colombia.
In the region, DC SP01 offers a total capacity of 19.4 MW, DC SP02 has a total capacity of 40 MW, with 16 MW available and 24 MW contracted. DC SP03 has a total capacity of 3.2 MW. The Sao Paulo data centers DC SP01, SP02, and SP03 currently offer a combined capacity of more than 62.6 MW.
