Call Screening Solution

The Truecaller Assistant, now available within the Truecaller app on Android devices, acts as a customizable and interactive digital receptionist. Its primary function is to answer calls on behalf of the user, enabling them to avoid unwanted callers.

Truecaller says with accuracy the Assistant quickly responds to incoming calls and provides live transcriptions of the caller’s speech, allowing users to identify the caller and understand the purpose of the call. Based on this information, users can decide whether to take over the call, request additional information, or simply mark it as spam.

Rishit Jhunjhunwala, Managing Director of Truecaller India, expressed excitement about the new feature: “Until now, Truecaller would show you who’s calling, but now you can let Truecaller Assistant have a conversation with the caller on your behalf. This is a very exciting next step for us in helping people avoid spam and fraud callers completely. We’ve rolled this out to a few markets earlier, and we are really happy to offer this to Truecaller fans in India.”

Personalized User Experience

Truecaller Assistant is being introduced to Indian users as part of a free 14-day trial. After this initial period, subscribers can opt for the Truecaller Premium Assistant plan, available from Rs 149 per month (currently offered at a limited promotional price of Rs 99).
