Xiaomi Redmi 1S listed on Flipkart, launch evident?

The Mi3 was the first smartphone from Xiaomi to be available for purchase in India and looks like the Redmi 1S will be next. The Xiaomi Redmi 1S was announced for India along with the Mi3 and it has just been listed on Flipkart, though, without any price or availability details. The registrations to buy the Redmi 1S might start as soon as this week. We think that Xiaomi will follow the same 'flash sales'  strategy to sell the Redmi 1S. Earlier, Hugo Barra had shared some information about the tentative launch dates of Redmi 1S, Redmi Note, Mi4 and MiPad.

Xiaomi Redmi 1S Listed On Flipkart

We feel that the Redmi 1S has higher sales potential when compared to the Mi3 because it is priced below Rs 10,000 mark and it is equipped with dual-SIM card slots. Priced at Rs 6,999, the Redmi 1S comes with a 4.7-inch IPS LCD screen with 720p HD resolution, 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage (further expandable via a microSD card slot) and Android 4.3 JellyBean (it might be launched with Android 4.4.2 KitKat). It has an 8MP camera at the back which can record full HD 1080p videos and a 1.6MP camera on the front. When this dual-SIM Android smartphone launches exclusively on Flipkart, it would give a tough fight to Asus Zenfone 4, Motorola Moto E and Micromax Unite 2.
