India’s second largest mobile operator, Reliance Communications (Rcom) takes a giant jump to offer another value for money Local and STD tariff offer for its CDMA mobile customers across India to enjoy longer conversations with their family and friends on any network anywhere in India at affordable price.
Reliance introduces all new Special Tariff Voucher (STV) 92 for its Pan-India CDMA mobile customers where in one can now enjoy the lowest Local and STD calling rate at just 30 paisa per minute for all calls made to any networks mobile or landline across India. The new STV comes with tariff validity of 180 days (6 months) from the date of recharge that means monthly effective cost of this plan is just Rs.15 approx.
To subscribe to STV 92, new and existing Reliance Mobile customers can recharge with Rs.92 from their nearest retailers or Reliance stores.

i request u to complain in pgportal.gov.in and then definitely u will get ur balance back. it is just waste to talk to customer care executives. One or two complaints in pgportal they will stop deducting the balance.

In Kolkata and WB circle Reliance CDMA has brought a unbeatable Data and Sms pack priced at 94, which provides 1 gb (3G like data )/month and 200sms/day for 180 days.Please reliance we need the same pack for GSM connection.

I have been using Reliance CDMA since 2006 and found the plans very attractive. I used their On Net STD Scheme for four years and saved thousands of rupees. When competition was not there, they offered nice plans. Now this plan proves that Reliance is always the best.

RCOM do have similar or I should say better plan for GSM subscriber also. In Haryana, with Rs.73 STV, they are offering Local R2R @5p/min, Local calls to any network @30p/min, STD @60p/min, 500MB 2G data per month for 6 months, Local and National SMS @5p/SMS for 180 days. Check for your circle.

Reliance Communications Limited is no more 2nd largest telecom operator in India as subscriber figures for July, 2012 shows that RCOM lost 20,488,915 (Two Crore Four Lakh Eighty Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Fifteen) wireless subscriber. Source: http://www.auspi.in
As per the subscriber data until June 30, 2012, RCOM had 154,600,726 wireless subscribers including GSM and CDMA. But the July, 2012 figures which were updated this month on August 24, 2012 shows RCOM wireless subscriber base at 134,111,811 which means they lost 20,488,915 subscribers.
Actually, while reporting subscribers data for July, Reliance didn’t reported de-active subscribers which they were reporting until June, 2012.
Rcom’s current subscriber base as of July 31st, 2012 stands at 134,111,811 which is below than Vodafone. So now Vodafone is the second largest operator of India and that’s too when they don’t have CDMA services.
I’ve always doubt the data provided by GSM or GSM+CDMA operators which keep on inflating figures and especially Airtel which I feel has only 55-60% active subscribers of what they report. Airtel having 180 plus million subscribers is just a false report. Similarlly others like Idea, Vodafone are also reporting false data. They are not excluding de-active subscribers.
