Xolo has been quietly expanding its portfolio in the country and it has just launched the Q900S Plus which runs on Android 4.4 KitKat for Rs 8,299. The smartphone is claimed to be the 'world's lightest smartphone' by Xolo, since it weighs just 100 grams but there are quite a few other devices which weigh less than it. Apart from that, the Q900S Plus appears to be a decent device from its specifications.

  • Android 4.4 KitKat operating system
  • 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor, Adreno 302 GPU, and 1GB RAM
  • 8GB internal storage, expandable by an additional 32GB using a microSD card
  • 8-megapixel rear camera with a LED flash and a 2-megapixel front camera

The smartphone seems a pretty capable unit and looks like an answer to the Lumia 535 which features the same chipset. Snapdragon 200 isn't a great performer and will do things just fine if you don't really push it. The device has been listed already for Rs 8,299 on the company website and will be available for purchase soon enough.
