The back of an all new Xiaomi device has been leaked in an image

By October 28th, 2014 AT 8:14 PM

Xiaomi is yet to launched the Redmi Note in India but it is already readying a new device for the home market; China. An image has been leaked which shows a completely new device. It could be the successor to the Redmi Note or a completely new product line. The back suggests that the camera will be an 8.0-megapixel unit but the current Redmi Note has a 13-megapixel unit so a downgrade is something we don’t understand. May be this is a successor to the Redmi 1S?

Xiaomi Redmi Successor Back

The Redmi Note successor is rumoured to come with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset, 2GB RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 8GB/16GB of internal storage, dual-SIM support, and Android 4.4 KitKat operating system based on MIUI v6.0. It is expected to cost only $245 which would make it quite a capable mid-range handset on a budget.

*Their reply was normal in fact its mostly you who seems to be over-reacting. *I am personally using Xiaomi Redmi 1S and for 6k this phone is delivering much more for its price than competitiors. I agree there were initial glitches like Heating issues and low battery but subsequent software updates have sorted these issues for some and in future more software updates will make the phone better. *See I agree there are certain places where Redmi 1S lacks like speaker volume is a little low and I also find call quality not all that impressive but for 6k they… Read more »

You are talking as if the branded company phones are sold only above Rs.20000. Who will compromise the quality for the sake of saving money (by buying third class company handsets)?.

Can you point out a single phone from the third class company that has all the following features in a single handset? :

> Optical image and optical video stabilization

> Quad band 2G and 3G support

> Supporting 128 GB memory card

> Xenon flash and carl zeiss lens

> General : Good after sales support

> Availability of original spares anywhere in the world.

If not, then stop trolling here.

Samsung note 3 neo, Samsung S7562 / S7582, Samsung I9082 or Samsung S3 neo is far more than the 3rd class redmi 1S.
