Xiaomi used to sell only one smartphone model at once, but the company will be putting two smartphones models for sale next week. The Redmi Note 4G and the Redmi 1S will be on sale together on January 6, 2015, though the exact timing of the sale will be different for these devices. The Redmi Note 4G will go on sale on 2PM while the Redmi 1S will go on sale on 5PM.
Xiaomi was able to sell 40,000 units of the Redmi Note 4G in the first sale, which happened yesterday, in just 6 seconds. The Chinese smartphone brand has been able to sell more than a million Mi smartphones in India till now. After the Delhi High Court banned Xiaomi from selling MediaTek powered devices, the company has put out the Redmi Note 4G for the sale a bit prematurely.
The Redmi Note 4G features a 5.5-inch HD IPS LCD display, Android 4.4 KitKat, a 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 2GB RAM, 8GB storage, 13-megapixel primary camera, 5-megapixel secondary camera, 4G LTE connectivity, and a 3,100 mAh battery. The device is priced at Rs. 9,999, and support both the 4G LTE bands in India; FDD-LTE at 1800MHz and TDD-LTE at 2300MHz.

Priced at Rs. 5,999, the Redmi 1S features a 4.7-inch HD IPS LCD display, a 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, 8-megapixel primary camera, 2-megapixel secondary camera, dual-SIM connectivity, and a 2,000 mAh battery.
