This year Xiaomi has made some very successful releases in India, and that does not only mean smartphones. The Chinese manufacturer has also launched some of the most popular electronic gadgets in the country which have been loved by the Indian users. This includes one of the most popular fitness bands in the market right now, the Mi Band 4. However, in a new update, Xiaomi has teased a new fitness band which might be a toned-down version of the Mi Band 4. The new band that we are talking about could be the Mi Band 4i, which could come with a slightly lesser price tag. In its latest tweet, Xiaomi has noted, “It’s not a shoe but something that tracks every step you take. Do you know who am ‘i’?”. The video also teases some things on the same lines and described step tracking with a focus on “i” which could mean that the upcoming fitness tracker from Xiaomi is actually the Mi Band 4i only.

Mi Band 4i To Come With Some Cut Down Specifications
The next question that comes in the mind of Xiaomi fans is about the specifications of the Mi Band 4i. Since it is speculated that the Mi Band 4i will come with some toned down specifications, it will likely lose out on some of the features which the Mi Band 4 offers. To recall, some of the highlights of the Mi Band 4 include a colour AMOLED display instead of a black and white one, a larger battery and lots of fitness tracking feature which are even capable of detecting in which style you are swimming. As compared to that, the Mi Band 4i could come with some cut down features. For example, instead of sporting a colour AMOLED screen, the Mi Band 4i could come with a black and white display, and it could also come with a smaller battery to keep the pricing in check. If that happens, it will become a fitness tracker that would lie between the Mi Band 4 and the previous generation Mi Band 3. It is also likely that similar to the Honor Band 4 Running Edition, the Mi Band 4i could come with a tag that you can put on your shoes to track your runs.
