Xiaomi Mi A2 Likely to Reduce the Popularity of Nokia 7 Plus in India

Xiaomi is all set to launch the much waited Mi A2 in India on August 8. The phone which will be the successor to the Mi A1 will come with the Android One certification from Google. The device is also going to be one of the few by Xiaomi to sport a pure stock Android experience. The phone has also been launched globally in Spain alongside its other variant, Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite, a model which sadly won’t make its way to India. The Nokia 7 Plus is another phone by HMD Global which very highly resembles the specs of the Mi A2. With Xiaomi launching the phone in this week, the Nokia 7 Plus is undoubtedly going to face some competition from the Xiaomi phone. Both the devices are also part of Android One programme and offer pure stock Android experience. Below we have compared both the phones across all areas to see which one stands as a clear winner.

Xiaomi Mi A2 vs Nokia 7 Plus: Design and Display
The Xiaomi Mi A2 comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio screen with minimum bezel which lends it a modern look. The phone also comes with USB Type-C and has no headphone jack which might be a little bit disappointing for some buyers. Encased in a metal unibody is the 5.99-inch ‘full-screen’ Full HD+ display with 2160x1080p resolution and 403 PPI pixel density. The thickness of the device is a measly 7.3mm, and there is also the Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. The colour options for Mi A2 include – gold, blue and black.
