India remains one of the important markets for the Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi. All you have to do is visit the nearest Mi Home to avail the exchange offer, and Cashify team will propose a suitable price for the device.

How does it work?

The first and foremost condition for exchange is that your Xiaomi device should be in the portfolio of Cashify. The devices that are eligible for the program  are Redmi 1s, Redmi 2, Redmi Prime, Redmi Note, Redmi Note 4G, Redmi Note Prime, Redmi Note 2, Redmi Note 3, Redmi Note 4, Redmi Y1, Redmi 3s, Redmi 3s Prime, Redmi 3s Plus, Redmi 4A, Redmi 4, Mi3, Mi4, Mi 4i, Mi 5, Mi Max, Mi Max 2, and Mi A1. However, you can exchange only one device at a time.

The Cashify team determines the value of your device and then propose a suitable amount that can be discounted for with the new Xiaomi device. The resale value is determined by the Cashify app and cannot be negotiated. The company will provide an e-receipt for your old phone and once the exchange deal is done there can be no further changes.

In addition, Cashify is offering a pickup service in which customers can have their older handsets picked up right from their home. In this case, customers will have to purchase a Xiaomi smartphone at the store by paying the whole amount upfront. Cashify will then schedule a pickup of the older smartphone from the address provided, and pay the customer the agreed value at in cash.

It is to be duly noted that the resale value is purely based on the condition of the old phone. And the exchange can only be availed at Mi Home stores which are located mainly in metro cities of the country. There are only 14 Mi Home stores which are located in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, and Hyderabad. The brand has promised to open 100 Mi Homes across the country in two years.
