Microsoft has already released Windows 10 preview builds for some of its smartphones, but it keeps on releasing new builds with new or improved features every few weeks. According to a report published yesterday, the latest version (5.38.2004) of Windows Camera for Windows 10 Mobile operating system features face tracking technology for the front-facing camera.

Windows 10 Mobile Front Camera Face Tracking

Automatic face-tracking technology allows the face to be in focus all the times, if it recognises a face in the frame. Does this mean that there will be Windows 10 Mobile based smartphones that will feature front-facing cameras with autofocus? Even if the camera has a fixed-focus lens, this new camera app will help in maintaining the exposure value so that the face is always properly visible.
