Few city corners of Bengaluru gets Vodafone 4G services on 1800 Mhz

Prominent business and residential corridors of Bengaluru get Vodafone’s next generation, high-speed 4G network. Jayanagar, Basavangudi, J.P.Nagar, Electronic City, Bangalore International Airport, Whitefield, B.T.M. Layout, Chamrajpet and Koramangala are the locations that received the service. The roll-out will get completed by across all parts of Bengaluru by March 2016. With this launch, Vodafone’s 4G services in Kerala, Karnataka, Kolkata, Delhi and NCR and Mumbai mark a successful completion.

Built on the efficient 1800 MHz band, this 4G network will enable Vodafone 4G customers to access the internet via mobile with speeds across a range of devices including Mobile Wi-Fi. The network is built on a strong fibre backhaul and is supported by its superfast 3.5G services. With this launch, the company claims to offer 2G/3G/4G services on its own state of the art, convergent radio technology.

Several launch offers await the customers who swap to 4G services. Vodafone offers a free upgrade to 4G along with high-speed 4G SIM. The 4G services are now offered at 3G prices for both post-paid and prepaid customers. The customers will also get 100% extra data on 4G for prepaid and postpaid. Besides, the service provider offers 100% Extra 4G data on Vodafone RED Plans for postpaid.

Three months complimentary subscription TV, Movies & Music on Vodafone Play, 100+ Live TV channels, access to Hungama Play, VOD service HOOQ, Vodafone Music and many more are also available as offers.

For swapping to 4G SIM, customers can visit Vodafone stores or call customer center. SMS can also be sent for the purpose to SMS <4GSIM to 199>. They can check their device compatibility to 4G SIM by sending an SMS <4GCHECK> to 199.
