The first edition of Vi's 'Game to Fame' will kick off today, i.e., October 1, 2024. For this, Vi has chosen Call of Duty for the players to compete. The grand finale of this tournament will be held at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2024.

Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL) has announced its first-ever grassroots eSports tournament - 'Vi Game to Fame'. This is not the first rodeo of the company in the world of gaming. Vi Games is already a platform integrated inside the Vi mobile app through which users can enjoy cloud gaming on the go. This eSports tournament will generate more traction for Vi as a brand and also promote the presence of eSports in the country. India is already a country where users love to play games on their mobile phones. An eSports tournament is a good opportunity to bring together Indians who love gaming and international players who want to compete at the highest level.

The first edition of Vi's 'Game to Fame' will kick off today, i.e., October 1, 2024. For this, Vi has chosen Call of Duty for the players to compete. The grand finale of this tournament will be held at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2024. Call of Duty Mobile is one of the most popular FPS (first-person shooting) games globally.

Vi opened the registrations for the tournament on October 1, and they will continue till October 5, 2024. Interested people can register through the official website of Vi. The top 6 teams from the online qualifier will move to the final round in the form of two groups and square off in a round-robin format at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2024, Asia’s largest tech fest from 15th to 18th October 2024.

The top two teams from each group will then proceed to the semis after battling it out in a best of 5 format.  The winning team will get to play a show match with current national CODM Champions owned by Team Vitality.
