Vodafone Idea (Vi) said it has expanded and enhanced its network with the expansion of deployment of L900 and L2100 technologies to over 4200 sites across 35 districts, including Pune, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Nashik, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Solapur, Ahmednagar, Thane. “This is part of Vi’s broader strategy to upgrade and enhance network infrastructure and provide its best-ever network after successfully raising funds in its Follow–on Public Offering,” Vi said in a statement on Wednesday.

Network Upgrade in Maharashtra
This upgrade aims to enhance indoor network performance and deliver superior voice quality and faster data speeds through Vi GIGAnet, the company said.
Commenting on the development, Rohit Tandon, Cluster Business Head, Maharashtra and Goa, Vodafone Idea, said, “We are committed to delivering superior network experiences to our users by expanding network coverage and capacity. The deployment of L900 and L2100 is an important step in enhancing Vi’s 4G network in the Maharashtra circle. We will continue to expand our network as well as bring relevant services and offerings to delight our customers.”
New Offers and Data Plans
In addition, Vi said it has introduced recent offers for users in Maharashtra, including the Hero Unlimited plan with unlimited high-speed data from 12 am to 6 am, weekend data rollover, and up to 2GB extra data per month starting at Rs 349.
