Vivo has silently slashed the price of the Vivo V9 Youth smartphone in India. As revealed by Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom, the Vivo V9 Youth will be available for purchase at Rs 17,990, down from its launch price of Rs 18,990. Vivo is yet to make an official announcement on the same and the e-commerce portal Flipkart is still selling the handset at the launch price itself. Maybe over the weekend, Flipkart will start selling the handset at the new retail price. The Vivo V9 Youth is a stripped down version of the Vivo V9 launched a couple of months ago in the Indian market. The Vivo V9 is still available at its launch price of Rs 22,990. Both the Vivo V9 and V9 Youth can be purchased across various offline stores and online stores such as Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm Mall and Vivo E-Store.
