Virgin Fibra Partners With Fastweb to Expand Ultra-Wideband Coverage in Italy

Italian fixed broadband provider Virgin Fibra has partnered with Fastweb, another telecommunications service provider, to consolidate its presence in the Italian market and enhance its ultra-high-speed connectivity services. According to the official release, Virgin Fibra aims to expand coverage and provide customers with up to 2.5 Gbps download speeds by leveraging Fastweb's Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) infrastructure.

Virgin Fibra and Fastweb Join Forces

According to Virgin Fibra, this partnership with Fastweb allows the company to extend its coverage to an additional 7.8 million households, ensuring more Italians have access to sustainable, high-performance, and fast fibre optic technology while benefiting from substantial energy consumption savings.

Flexibility and Transparent Pricing

Virgin Fibra says one notable feature of its services is the absence of contractual constraints, enabling customers to freely choose their service and cancel without penalties if desired. Moreover, the company added that it ensures transparency in pricing, maintaining consistent rates regardless of inflation. This commitment protects customers from unexpected changes in their connectivity expenses.
