Uninor launches cheapest Rs. 19 STV pack in Maharashtra to offer local & STD calls at 25 p/min

The 'Sabse Sasta' operator, Uninor, has launched a new value combo rate-cutter pack for its customers in the Maharashtra & Goa circle. The new rate-cutter offers local and STD calls at only 25 paise/min at Rs. 19, which is one of the cheapest rates in that circle provided by any operator.

As per the latest subscription data from COAI, Uninor had a count of 7.6 million subscribers in the end of July. It has also added 96,539 new connections in that region. Uninor has expanded its networks in the Maharashtra region to provide seamless coverage. It has also revamped its website in the past few months. Recently, they also launched a similar type of offer in the UP East circle under a new campaign that is named ‘Sabse Sasta Ka Danka’ .

Uninor has also reported a positive EBITDA for second quarter of FY 2015. Increased revenues, improved gross margin following the mobile termination rate cut and continued initiatives around cost efficiencies helped company deliver positive EBITDA in Q2 2015. This quarter the company registered a positive EBITDA of Rs 18.8 crore.
