If you’re looking to join a new telecom network and in the hunt for an affordable first recharge, here’s an offer for you that gives you voice benefits for 90 days and data benefits for 60 days. Norway-based Telenor has come up with a new FRC 103 scheme providing both voice and data benefits.

Under the new FRC 103 plan, the company is offering a talk time of Rs. 25 along with 25paise/min for all the local and STD calls valid for 90 days. This means that the voice rate cutter will be valid for three months and the customer has to recharge with another rate cutter after 90 days. Otherwise, they will be charged nominal tariff charges.

The best part of this plan is that it also comes with data benefits. The same FRC 103 plan offers unlimited 4G data for 60 days with a daily data FUP of 2GB, which is on par with BSNL’s Rs. 339 promotional plan for existing prepaid customers. Post the daily FUP of 2GB; speed will be reduced to 128 Kbps.

Having said that, this plan is valid only in the circles where Telenor is offering 4G services such as Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Agra, Varanasi, etc.

Besides, Telenor is also giving one more offer at Rs. 249 for all the existing prepaid users in its 4G circles with unlimited voice and data benefits. The Rs. 249 plan offers unlimited local and STD calls to any network across India along with unlimited data with daily FUP of 2GB. However, this plan is valid only for 28 days.

If we compare the Rs. 249 scheme with Vodafone’s recently announced Rs. 249 plan, Telenor’s scheme is way ahead of Vodafone’s since it offers 2GB 4G data per day. Whereas Vodafone users get unlimited 2G data per month. Nevertheless, Vodafone has broad coverage across India, but Telenor still has to cover a lot of circles in the country.

What do you think of this new plan from Telenor? Will you get a Telenor SIM card for this offer? Let us know in the comments section below.
