Telemach Slovenia Acquires Majority Stake in T-2
Telemach Slovenia has agreed to purchase a majority stake in the Slovenian telecommunications operator T-2. Under the share purchase agreement signed with T-2 shareholder Garnol, Telemach Slovenia will initially acquire a non-controlling stake of 24.9 percent in T-2, with plans to acquire at least 98.06 percent after receiving approval from the relevant regulators.

Strengthening Telecommunications Infrastructure

Telemach said the transaction will enable T-2 to develop stably and invest effectively in the latest technologies, products, and improved user experience. The combined Telemach and T-2 will offer users a technologically advanced optical network, improved mobile services, and unlimited packages, helping to achieve the goal of 5G network connectivity and coverage at the national level.

Telemach Slovenia commented: "With today's signing, we have secured a competitive future for T-2, which was uncertain due to the threat of bankruptcy. This acquisition strengthens our capacity for further investments in state-of-the-art mobile and fixed telecommunications infrastructure, advanced technologies, and innovative products and services."

T-2 added, "This transaction will allow our company to continue successfully developing its potential in the Slovenian market. The solution provided by Telemach is crucial for our employees, customers, and business partners.
