With the festive season going on, the DTH operators have also rolled out new offers, discounts and promotions just like the telecom operators. The DTH operators try to come up with the most attractive promotion either fort their existing subscribers or for their new customers to help them impress these subscribers. Now, this festive season as well, the subscribers in the DTH industry are getting to see many promotional rollouts. The big names in the industry are also not shy of these offers. However, this festive season is actually the first one after the rollout of the new Trai tariff regime which means that these festive offerings would actually come as a relief to the consumers, where most think that they are overpaying for their DTH connection. If you are a DTH subscriber with one of the operators mentioned below, then you must access these promotions, to make use of the benefit being offered this festive season.

Tata Sky Offering Reduced Pricing on Channel Packs

The first offering that we are going to be talking about comes from the top DTH operator of the country. The reason why Tata Sky has become the number on DTH operator is because of offerings like this, combined with the right timing. As part of this new offer, Tata Sky is offering its add-on channel packs, curated channel packs and regional channel packs at a discount to its subscribers. The price cut on these channel packs is not much, but it would still be a small saving for the subscribers. Many regional language packs under the curated or add-on category are under a temporary price cut right now. Tata Sky is also offering a 28% off on a new HD connection as to its new subscribers.

Dish TV Offering 250 Channels at Rs 219

Next in line providing perhaps one of the most attractive festive offering to the subscribers is Dish TV. Under this new offer, Dish TV is shipping some of the channel packs for its subscribers at older pricing. This entails that some of the packs with over 250 channels would be available for Rs 219 for Dish TV subscribers. However, there is a catch to it since the Dish TV subscribers would have to subscribe to this plan for two years in order to enjoy the benefits of reduced pricing. There are also compelling reasons for the subscribers to opt for Dish TV, given its launch of new Hybrid Set-Top Box, and the festive pricing, albeit with a two-year commitment.

D2h Long-Term Plan

D2h subscribers will get access to better long-term plan benefits for their DTH plans. To note specifically, the subscribers of D2h will get double the benefit on these long term plans. The subscribers would get 14 days of free service on three months of upfront payment, 30 days of free service for 6 months of upfront payment, and 60 days of free service for 10 months of upfront payment.

Broadcaster Channel Price Cut

Amongst other festive offerings, there is also the price cut from the broadcasters which the subscribers have appreciated right before the festive season. Right with the start of the festive season, the popular channels like Star Plus, Colors and more have been brought down in pricing, which is something that has pleased the subscribers. Now although this offer is not being extended by the DTH operators. It is something that the subscribers are getting to enjoy in the festive season. As part of this price cut, many SD channels are available for Rs 12 per month as opposed to Rs 19 per month.
