Tata Docomo reduces its data benefits for CDMA Users

As per the reports, it was offering 1GB data for Rs. 95 initially, but the company has now reduced the data limit to 500 MB.

Tata Docomo’s CDMA serices are almost dead. They have shutdown their towers at many places in West Bengal and Kolkata.Hardly anyone uses TD’s CDMA connection. So,it wont really matter if they reduce data benefits as long as the same does not happen with their GSM data packs.

I do know know that they are dead in rest of Bengal but atleast they are good in Kolkata and I hardly need to travel in rest of Bengal. As I am from Kolkata circle and since their GSM services are fine here,I didnt find the need to mention it.But their CDMA services are dead in Kolkata so I have mentioned that. You are strongly against Docomo so whenever you are getting a chance, you are commenting against it.

@Sayantan: Don’t think others like yourself! Maybe u need not to travel in rest of bengal, but there are lot of people who are traveling in rest of bengal and facing coverage issues, high call rates in their TD gsm numbers of kolkata. Tell me one thing why TD gsm is not providing coverage in rob and wasting spectrum for the last 5 years? If this spectrum was given to uninor they could had provided coverage at rural locations of rob, along with cheap tariffs. That’s why I am criticizing this shameless docomo cartoon network. Also I know that u… Read more »

Well, i stopped Tata CDMA a long time ago. When they launched photon+, it was a big thing and concept of data cards was non existent. they brought revolution in this sector but years on, many things changed but they didn’t, same costly EVDO plans and extremely high billing forced me to terminate the connection and now, they are the worst. Sometimes i feel someone is purposely trying to shut down the company or maybe the executives are IIN graduates. Who knows! But future for tata docomo is bleak. A year or more, they will be non-existent.
