Tata Communications launches Internet protection for SME sector

TATA-COMMUNICATION-LAUNCHES-VALUE-ADDED-SERVICE-INTERNET-USERSTata Communications Ltd today announced the launch of its "Internet Clean Pipe" solution for small and medium business segments.

The solution ensures clean internet traffic by eliminating malware, spam and virus without the customer having to incur capital expenditure on security hardware.




This solution is the first of its kind by an internet service provider (ISP) in India.

This service utilizes a network based all in one Fortinet Unified Threat Management device which includes anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-spyware, intrusion prevention and web filtering capabilities, under which the internet traffic is checked for vulnerabilities before it enters the customer’s premise, thereby ensuring optimal utilization of bandwidth purchased without any unwanted traffic.

This also eliminates the need for investment in security hardware and costs associated with maintenance and management. The Customers gain peace of mind and are fully confident that their bandwidth is utilized for genuine purposes only. Available 24x7x365, the Internet Clean Pipe solution provides users with multiple bandwidth speed options backed by best-in-class Service Level Agreements (SLAs) guaranteeing better network uptime, zero latency and packet drop amongst many other advantages.
