Domestic smartphone brand, Swipe has launched a new smartphone in the Indian market. Dubbed as the Swipe KONNECT Power, the smartphone caters to the entry-level segment and is priced at Rs. 4,999. Swipe claims the USP of the smartphone as the 3000mAh battery, which is a rarity in the said price. The smartphone will be exclusively sold in Snapdeal.

However, the Swipe KONNECT Power faces tough competition from the iVoomi smartphones such as the iVoomi Me5 and Me 1+. The KONNECT Power has a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core chipset. The chipset is accompanied with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 32GB with a microSD card.
The KONNECT Power has an 8MP primary camera with support for LED flashlight. Frontal, there’s a 5MP camera for selfies and video calls. This dual-SIM smartphone comes laden with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Sadly, Swipe is still using the two-year-old Android Marshmallow OS, while its counterpart iVoomi is highlighting the Android 7.0 Nougat aspect on all of its smartphones.
There’s an option to expand the storage through a compatible pen drive as well since the smartphone comes with OTG support. Swipe says that the battery of the KONNECT Power’s 3000mAh battery will deliver 8 hours of social media browsing, 24 hours of normal usage, 3 hours of 4G online videos, and 4 hours of Wi-Fi video streaming.
