Android 5.0 Lollipop for Sony Xperia Z1, Xperia Z1 Compact, and Xperia Z Ultra coming next week

Sony has just started rolling out Lollipop update to the Xperia Z2 in India, and now the company has announced the timeline for its 2013 line-up of high-end smartphones. According to the company’s tweet, Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Sony Xperia Z1, the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact, and the Sony Xperia Z Ultra will be rolled out next week.

The tweet also mentions that the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra and the Sony Xperia C3 will be updated to Lollipop shortly after that. The company will later update the time frame for the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the rest of the Xperia Z family, including the Xperia Z, the Xperia ZL, the Xperia ZR, and the Xperia Tablet Z.
