On February 20, Samsung launched its 2019 flagships – Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+. Alongside these two phones, Samsung followed Apple's footsteps and launched the Galaxy S10e, basically a toned down version of the Galaxy S10. A week later, at the Mobile World Congress 2019 – which is going on right now in Barcelona, Spain – HMD Global launched a series of smartphones, but the star of the event was its five rear camera phone, which is the Nokia 9 PureView – one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year. Both the Samsung and the Nokia 9 PureView are going to create a buzz in the smartphone after they are available in the market. The Samsung Galaxy S10e has launched starting price of USD 749; In India, the phone has been priced at Rs 55,990. The Nokia 9 PureView, on the other hand, has been launched only in Europe right now and has been priced at Rs $699. More so, the Samsung Galaxy S10e looks almost like its big brother Galaxy S10. The Samsung Galaxy S10e comes packed with a punch hole display which embeds the selfie camera inside it to capture selfies. The bezels on the sides of the Samsung phone are also very minimal. The Nokia 9 PureView, on the other hand, comes with pretty thick bezels. The Nokia phone doesn’t really go in line with the phones of this generation that come with as minimal bezels as possible. The Nokia phone doesn’t have a notch or a punch hole.

The Samsung Galaxy S10e comes packed with a 5.8-inch Full HD+ display. The Samsung phone packs a Dynamic AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. It also supports HDR10+. The Nokia 9 PureView comes packed with a 5.99-inch OLED screen paired with 2K resolution. The screen of the Nokia 9 PureView is protected with a layer of Gorilla Glass 5.

Like the Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, the Galaxy S10e is also powered by the latest 8nm-based Exynos 9820 chipset. The global version of the Galaxy S10e is powered by Snapdragon 855 processor. The Nokia 9 PureView is powered by Qualcomm’s year-old Snapdragon 845 SoC. The Samsung Galaxy S10e comes in two variants – the base model with 6GB RAM/128GB storage and 8GB RAM/256GB storage. The Nokia 9 PureView comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Nokia 9 PureView is backed by 3320mAh battery, while the Samsung phone includes a 3100mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy S10e comes packed with a dual camera system on the back panel. On the back, the phone includes a 12MP Dual Aperture primary camera and 16MP ultra wide-angle secondary camera. On the front, the Samsung Galaxy S10e comes with a 10MP selfie camera with an aspect ratio of f/1.9. The Nokia 9 PureView, on the flip side, comes with five cameras, while on the front the phone includes a single camera. On the rear camera, the Nokia 9 PureView comes packed with five 12MP cameras. The Nokia phone basically comes with three monochrome sensors and two RGB sensors. On the front, the Nokia 9 PureView includes a 20MP selfie shooter paired with a flash.
