Rumours hint that the device will cost as much as Rs. 74,990 in the country, while some say that it may be priced at Rs. 69,990. Samsung recently reduced the price of the Galaxy S8+ 6GB RAM variant to Rs. 65,990, hinting a higher price tag for the Note 8. Samsung has been taking pre-registrations for the Galaxy Note 8 in India right after the global launch itself.

The Indian invite says 'Do Bigger Things,' because the Note 8 has a 6.3-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display. The display of the Note 8 is also rated as the best screen in any smartphone by DisplayMate. Samsung will initially launch two colour options of the Note 8 in India- Midnight Black and Maple Gold. Later on, the brand will bring all the colour options to the Indian market.

The Note 8 shares a lot of similar features with the S8 duo such as the Snapdragon 835/Exynos 8895 chipset, colour options, water resistance, and wireless charging.

The Galaxy Note 8 is Samsung's first dual camera smartphone. The smartphone comes with two 12MP sensors at the back and both of them are optically stabilised, a first in any smartphone. A standard 12MP sensor adores the back, along with another 12MP telephoto lens for capturing lossless 2X zoomed images. Frontal, the Note 8 has the same 8MP selfie camera as seen on the Galaxy S8 and S8+. The entire package is backed by a 3300mAh battery.

What makes the Note 8 special is the S-Pen support. As said earlier, the Note 8 is powered by the Snapdragon 835/Exynos 8895 chipset, but in India, Samsung will launch the Exynos 8895 variant of the device. The Note 8 features a massive 6GB of RAM and comes in 64GB/128GB/256GB storage models. At the moment, it's unknown whether Samsung will launch all the storage options in India.

Will you purchase the Galaxy Note 8 if it launches at Rs. 74,990 or Rs. 69,990? Let us know in the comments below.
