Looks like Samsung is on a launch spree. The company unveiled two smartphones in the J series recently and now it has come up with yet another smartphone, the Galaxy A9 Pro (SM-A9100). The device belongs to Samsung's 'A' series of Galaxy devices and is currently limited to China, wherein it will be retailing at 3499 yuan (approx. Rs. 35,765). Samsung has not yet revealed whether it will be announcing the device in other regions as well. However, we are pretty sure that the device will soon be launched in India as it is one of the largest markets for Samsung.
Coming on to the specifications of the Galaxy A9 Pro, the smartphone features a 6-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 chipset clubbed with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card). In the imaging segment, the device sports a 16-megapixel of primary camera with LED flash, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), and f/1.9 aperture, along with an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
On the software front, the phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and also features a fingerprint sensor, which is integrated into the Home button. It supports connectivity options such as Hybrid dual-SIM, 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, ANT+, and NFC. Backing the Galaxy A9 Pro (SM-A9100) is a 5000mAh of battery with support for Fast Charging.
The smartphone has been crafted in a metal frame along with a glass back, which provides it with a premium look. It will be up for purchase in White, Gold and Rose Gold color options.
