Samsung Galaxy A6 has now received its first price cut in India. The base variant of the Galaxy A6 with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage will now retail for Rs 19,990, down from the launch price of Rs 21,990. This news was posted by Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom, and the price cut is already effective on Amazon India, while Samsung Shop is still selling the device for the launch price. Furthermore, the offline retailer stated that Samsung would be launching the 64GB variant of the Galaxy A6 at Rs 20,990, not at the launch price of Rs 22,990. Back on May 21, Samsung launched the Galaxy A6 in both 32GB and 64GB variants in India, but the latter did not appear for sale till date.

Even after the price cut, the Samsung Galaxy A6 is an overpriced device because of the hardware it packs. The Galaxy A6+, on the other hand, is still retailing for Rs 25,990 and it's considered as one of the overpriced products of all time in the Indian smartphone market.
