Samsung Galaxy A6 and A6+ Smartphones Listed on Official Website

Samsung has now officially listed both the Galaxy A6 and the Galaxy A6+ smartphones on its official Indonesian website, hinting at an imminent launch. The listing also revealed the complete specifications of the smartphones, and in a separate leak, the pricing of both the devices has been revealed. In-line with the rumours, the Galaxy A6 will have Samsung's own Exynos chipset under the hood, while the A6+ will come with a Snapdragon 450 SoC. Both the devices will feature Super AMOLED displays with 18.5:9 Infinity Displays on the front.

Samsung Galaxy A6 and A6+ Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A6 flaunts a 5.6-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1480 pixels, and the Galaxy A6+ will have a larger 6-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2220 pixels. Samsung previously used the Infinity Display tech on the Galaxy Note, Galaxy S and Galaxy A lineup of devices. And the Galaxy A6 will be first Samsung smartphone with HD+ Infinity Display. Under the hood, the Galaxy A8 will have an octa-core 1.6GHz SoC which is Samsung's own Exynos 7870 SoC, whereas the A6+ will house a 1.8GHz chipset which is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC.

In Indonesia, the Galaxy A6 will come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, while the A6+ is listed with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. However, when it comes to India, Samsung might launch only the 4GB RAM variants.

Cameras on the Galaxy A6 include a 16MP rear-facing one with f/1.7 aperture and autofocus support. To the front, there will be a 16MP camera on the A6. Coming to the A6+, it sports a dual camera setup at the back with a 16MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary depth sensor. Also, the A6+ comes with a 24MP selfie shooter. The A6+ will also offer Samsung's Live Focus feature. Dimensions of the Galaxy A6 are 149.9x70.9x7.7mm, and the A6+ has a thickness of 7.9mm.

Both the phones are listed to come with Bixby support, and they run Android Oreo out of the box. The Galaxy A6 will have a 3000mAh battery unit backing it, while the A6+ will come with a 3500mAh unit. As stated, the pricing details of both the devices are leaked as well. The Galaxy A6 will retail between Euro 300 to Euro 340 (approx. Rs 24,081 to Rs 27,201. The A6+ will be a pricier one and will come around Euro 360- Euro 400 (approx. Rs 28,897- Rs 32,108). The launch date of both the phones is yet to be revealed by the company.
