Canadian telecommunications company Rogers Communications has launched its first products under the Xfinity brand in Canada through a 10-year partnership with US cable operator Comcast, announced earlier this year. Using Comcast's EntertainmentOS platform, Rogers is introducing Rogers Xfinity Streaming, offering customers access to top streaming apps and free, ad-supported content on its TV platform—all in one place.

One-Stop Entertainment Experience
Rogers Xfinity Streaming is the first service powered by Comcast's EntertainmentOS, which consolidates live sports, entertainment, news, movies, and shows from top streaming apps into a single, easy-to-navigate view, Rogers said on Thursday.
Partnership Brings Xfinity to Canada
"Rogers Xfinity will provide our customers with world-class internet and entertainment services on Canada's fastest and most reliable network," Rogers said.
Comcast's technology platform leverages AI, cloud, and voice capabilities to deliver continuous innovation, Rogers added.

Enhanced Network Upgrades
New Wi-Fi and home security products are also planned under the Xfinity offering, building on Rogers' ongoing network upgrades to deliver enhanced reliability and multi-gig speeds to nearly seven million homes by the end of this year.
