Reliance Jio, which is celebrating its 2nd Anniversary has reintroduced the PhonePe offer, under which it will be providing Rs 399 prepaid plan at Rs 299 via MyJio application. To recall, Jio introduced the same PhonePe offer earlier this year and offered the company's highest selling plan of Rs 399 at Rs 299, which brings the monthly benefits to Rs 100. However, there are some catches with this offer and it will be available only for a limited period between September 12, 2018, and September 21, 2018. Furthermore, this offer can be availed only through MyJio application and the customer should have Rs 50 vouchers in their Jio account to get the discount of Rs 100.
Reliance Jio-PhonePe Offer Details
As mentioned, Jio prepaid users can avail the Rs 399 plan at an effective price of Rs 299, but there are some catches. As you might have understood by now, Jio will be giving an instant discount of Rs 100 with the Rs 399 prepaid plan during the offer period. However, the Rs 100 discount comprises two components, which are the catches of this offer.
Firstly, a user will receive Rs 50 instant discount only if they have Rs 50 cashback vouchers in their account. The Rs 50 cashback vouchers can be availed by performing recharges on MyJio application. Second, the Rs 50 instant cashback will be provided to PhonePe when the payment is made via PhonePe on MyJio application. So overall, if a user has Rs 50 vouchers in their account, then they can avail the whole Rs 100 discount, which brings the plan's price to Rs 299.
It's Limited Period Offer, So Hurry Up
Having said that, this is a limited period offer from Reliance Jio and any Jio prepaid user in the country can avail the offer. The offer, according to Jio, will run between September 12, 2018, to September 21, 2018. As mentioned, Jio reintroduced this offer as part of the company's 2nd Anniversary Celebrations as it's aiming to offer various surprises during the entire month.
Jio Offers Unlimited Calls, 42GB Data at Just Rs 100
Under this offer, Jio brings down the cost of Rs 399 plan to Rs 299. As you might be aware of, Jio's Rs 399 plan gives benefits for 84 days from the date of recharge. The plan usually gives 1.4GB data per day, unlimited voice calls without any FUP limit and 100 SMS per day for 84 days. With this offer, the price of the plan per month becomes effectively Rs 100 and users can enjoy the benefits of 42GB data per month along with unlimited calls and SMSes.
Jio is Already Offering Free 16GB Data to Celebrating 2nd Anniversary
Jio turned two years on September 5, 2018, and the company has had an excellent start to its telecom career. The first surprise from Jio was the free 16GB data offer, which users have already got it for the month of September. For celebrating its 2nd Anniversary, Jio has gifted 8GB of data which will be split to 2GB data per day for four days to its users. Jio has confirmed that every user will get the additional data for this month by September 20 and the same 8GB data will be provided in October as well, which brings the overall data benefit to 16GB.
