Reliance Jio to Offer Instant Rs 2,200 Cashback on Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro Smartphones

At the launch event earlier today, Xiaomi said that it had partnered with Reliance Jio to provide cashback of Rs 2,200 on both of its newly launched Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro smartphones. When Xiaomi said that it’s instant cashback, everyone was taken by surprise, and to make things even more worse, Xiaomi did not even reveal the mode of cashback. Well, both the Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro smartphone buyers will receive 44 vouchers worth Rs 50, which can be used only for future recharges on MyJio application.

To get the instant cashback of Rs 2,200 users should recharge with either the Rs 198 or Rs 299 tariff plan. Post the recharge; vouchers will be credited to the customer’s Jio account. And as mentioned, these vouchers can be used for future recharges on MyJio app itself, and a user can not use more than one voucher for each transaction.

Alongside the cashback offer, Xiaomi also said that both the smartphone buyers would also receive double data on the first three recharges. So if you recharge with the Rs 198 plan, you will receive instant Rs 2,200 cashback and double data benefit too. The Rs 198 Jio tariff plan offers 2GB data per day, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day for 28 days. So the plan basically offers 56GB of 4G data, but for the Note 5 and Note 5 Pro users, the data benefit will be doubled to 112GB. And they can enjoy the same benefit with the first recharges.
