Recently, the Redmi 10 series smartphones were launched in India. So soon, reports hint that the company is prepping to launch yet another set of Redmi-branded smartphones. In one of the latest reports, the key specifications of one of the upcoming Redmi smartphones have been leaked by a tipster.




New Redmi Smartphone Specs Leak

As per the information shared by a well-known Chinese tipster, Digital Chat Station, the key specifications of an upcoming Redmi smartphone have been revealed. Going by the same, the new Redmi smartphone is believed to flaunt a large 6.7-inch OLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. Also, the screen is likely to have a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Under its hood, the device is tipped to be equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. For imaging, the Redmi smartphone has been hinted to use a 50MP primary camera sensor at the rear.

Furthermore, the tipster shared more details in another post. As per the same, the Redmi smartphone in question is claimed to be launched with over 100W fast charging support, hinting at a flagship device. The other aspects revealed by the tipster include the IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and dual speakers.

As of now, the tipster did not reveal if these posts are related to the same smartphone or different offerings from Redmi. But one of the models is expected to be the rumoured Redmi K50 series phone. We can get more clarity when further reports regarding these upcoming models from Redmi hit the web.

Upcoming Redmi Phones On Cards

While there is no official confirmation regarding the device, it is expected to be working on the Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, and Redmi K50 Pro+. Even the company executive hinted at the arrival of next-generation Redmi flagship models.

Besides this, another model - likely Redmi K40 Ultra is speculated to be on the cards with a fast 120Hz refresh rate screen, a whopping 108MP primary ISOCELL HM2 sensor, a Sony IMX355 wide-angle secondary sensor, and a tertiary telemacro sensor with support for 3x zoom. This smartphone is believed to get the power from a MediaTek processor that remains unspecified.
